Advising an International Main Contractor, in an approximate USD 700 m dispute, at the New Doha International Airport in relation to the works package relating to the Emiri Terminal, Mosque, and Carparks. Provided strategic and legal advice pertaining to misrepresentation, procurement law, incomplete and late delivery of detailed design, design process/risk, payment mechanism, settlement agreements, delays/liquidated damages, omissions of works, variations and contract administration issues.
Providing an International Main Contractor, on a road project in Qatar, with a contract review and procurement advice. Identifying and advising upon the risk allocation in Ashghal’s (Government Entity) main contract. Proposing risk management strategies together with tender “queries/qualifications” and advising upon the best strategic approach going forward (USD 100 m).
