Providing the Lender to the Purchaser of the Olympic Village in the UK with specialist construction and engineering legal advice in relation to the risk within the “contract documents”, including the Main Contract and the residual documents, pertaining to the conversion and fit-out of the Olympic Village into private residential housing (USD 800 M).
Representing the International Main Contractor, as co-counsel, in relation to litigation (USD 25 m) regarding the termination of the Subcontractor working on five residential towers at the Pearl Development (Qatar). Resolving several “status quo” cases and an application for “injunctive relief” together with several other issues including design, variations, delay, extensions of time, liquidated damages, defective works and termination.
